The Wavertree Society

Founded in 1977, our good friends at The Wavertree Society act as stewards and protectors of Wavertree’s local environment and architectural heritage, especially within the Wavertree Village and Wavertree Garden Suburb Conservation Areas. Their site has some lovely old photos and includes loads of fascinating knowledge and information about Wavertree’s heritage.

Wavertree Town Hall

Wavertree Town Hall, the Grade II listed jewel in our High Street’s Crown, re-opened as a bar and restaurant in August 2020. New owners Natalie, Lisa and their team have brought this glorious building back to life with love, care and attention to detail, and offeri a simple, classic and traditional menu to enjoy in beautiful surroundings. We are delighted to welcome our beautiful Town Hall back to the High Street. (Reservations: 0151 291 0184)

Vitality Homes

Vitality Homes is an abstinence based recovery project, based at Damien John Kelly House on Wavertree High Street and managed by PJ & Jackie. The lads at DJK House are great neighbours and always pitch in to help. A number of the DJK residents are volunteers at ReLoved and have become valued members of our Love Wavertree community.

Assess Education

Assess Education works to enable access to learning, further education, training and employment, ensuring that no child is left behind or excluded. Assess is a recognised Local Authority Alternative Education Provider, and has a stated ‘Community Commitment’ to work with its local community. Dena and her team are great supporters of Love Wavertree, and the wider Wavertree area.
